About Me

Christine Martino - designer, illustrator, bagel-lover.

I’ve been an artist all my life.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, I’ve wanted to be an artist since a classmate in the second grade challenged me to a drawing contest: who could draw Eric Lindros from the Philadelphia Flyers the best. Well, I lost. But I discovered that I loved drawing because of it.
In high school, I discovered Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver – love at first sight. I spent hours on the computer painting in Photoshop, and then building a website in Dreamweaver to publish my paintings. You know, just for fun.

I never considered I could do this kind of thing for a living.

After graduating high school, I was introduced to the field of Graphic Design at Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia, preparing me for the real-world of advertising.

I graduated at the top of the class, which I consider not as a personal accolade, but simply confirmation of my passion for excellence in the craft. Since then, I’ve been freelancing graphic and web design.
